Lost & Found Policy

1. INTRODUCTION

Apache Gold Casino & Hotel is committed to making reasonable efforts to return lost items to their rightful owners. The following policy outlines how lost and found items are handled.

2. Reporting a Lost Item

Guests who believe they have lost an item on property should:

  • Contact the Front Desk or Security Department as soon as possible

  • Provide a detailed description of the item, date, time, and location it was last seen

  • A photo or proof of ownership may be required before any item is released

3. Found Items

  • All found items are turned in to Security or Guest Services and logged into the resort’s Lost & Found system.

  • Items are tagged with:

    • Date found

    • Location found

    • Description of item

4. Storage & Holding Periods

Apache Gold Casino & Hotel is not responsible for lost or stolen items, but will store found items for the following periods:

  • Valuables (wallets, phones, jewelry, purses, etc.): Held for 30 days

  • Non-valuables (clothing, hats, chargers, etc.): Held for 14 days

  • Perishable items: Discarded immediately

  • Unclaimed items after the holding period may be donated, disposed of, or turned over to Tribal or local authorities, as appropriate.

5. Claiming An Item

To claim an item, guests must:

  • Provide valid identification
  • Accurately describe the item

  • Provide proof of ownership when applicable

Items will only be released to the verified owner or their authorized representative.

6. Shipping Lost Items

  • Guests may request items be shipped to them at their own expense.
  • Apache Gold Casino & Resort is not responsible for loss or damage during shipping.

7. Liability disclaimer

Apache Gold Casino & Hotel is not responsible for lost, misplaced, or stolen items, including items left in guest rooms, public areas, or vehicles.
